By accessing our website, dining at our restaurant, ordering online, or using any of our services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. 2. Restaurant Services

We provide dine-in, takeout, delivery (when available), catering, and bar services.
Service availability, menu items, portion sizes, and prices may change at any time without notice.

3. Reservations & Seating

  • Reservations are not required but recommended for large parties.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel reservations due to capacity, special events, or operational needs.

  • Late arrivals may affect seating availability.

4. Age Restrictions

  • Valid government-issued identification is required for all alcohol purchases.

  • We follow all Connecticut liquor laws and reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone at our discretion.

5. Online Orders & Payments

  • Prices displayed online may vary from in-restaurant prices.

  • All online orders must be paid at checkout through approved payment methods.

  • Orders cannot be modified or canceled once preparation has started.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • All sales are final once food or beverages are prepared.

  • Refunds are issued only for:

    • Incorrect orders

    • Items not received

    • Food quality concerns (reviewed case-by-case)

  • Catering and event deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.

7. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

We take food safety seriously; however:

  • Our kitchen uses nuts, dairy, wheat, eggs, and spices.

  • We cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
    Guests with severe allergies must notify staff and use their own discretion.

8. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable.

  • Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.

9. Conduct & Safety

To ensure a safe and pleasant environment:

  • Disorderly, disruptive, or abusive behavior is not tolerated.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave for safety reasons.

  • Damage to property caused by guests is their financial responsibility.

10. Events, Catering & Private Bookings

Separate written agreements may apply, including:

  • Minimum spend requirements

  • Deposit terms

  • Cancellation policies

  • Staffing fees

  • Set-up and clean-up rules

All event-related terms must be followed as stated in the agreement provided at booking.

11. Website & Social Media Use

By accessing our website or social media pages:

  • You agree not to misuse or attempt unauthorized access.

  • All content (logos, photos, menus, text, designs) is the property of Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar and cannot be reproduced without permission.

12. Privacy

We may collect basic information such as:

  • Name, phone number, email

  • Online order details

  • Reservation information

We do not sell or share personal data with outside parties except trusted service providers necessary to complete orders or reservations.

13. Third-Party Platforms

Delivery apps (UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.) have their own terms.
We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect pricing displayed on third-party apps

  • Delivery delays

  • App-based cancellations or refunds

Please contact the delivery service for issues with their platform.

14. Limitation of Liability

Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar is not liable for:

  • Delays or service interruptions

  • Food reactions, allergies, or preferences

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Damages arising from misuse of our website or services

Your use of our services is at your own risk.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting to our website or at the restaurant.
